A day at Silverwood!

Such a ham!!!
Daddy and Azlyn enjoying a gut burger and fries at Silverwood!

Azlyn was waiting so patiently for Daddy and Mason to finish the ride. When that patience ran out she started crying and yelling 'Daddy!' It took everything to distract her so people wouldn't think I'd just stole her from her dad!

The new Maverick!

I wish I could have video taped this entire moment. Mason got on first, then this little girl got on with him. I believe he wasn't too sure of sharing. But a few times around and Roth and I noticed that he had his arm resting on the back of the seat, leaned back, looking oh so cool! He's not even five yet and already he's trying to impress the girls!
I wish I would have taken pictures of Boulder Beach at Silverwood! That was by far our favorite part! Mason went on all the big waterslides, minus the geronimo-type one. He had a blast! Azlyn, on the other hand, did not want to get wet and was absolutely content sitting in her stroller checking out the crowd. We stayed until closing time. Both kids passed out on the way back but it was so worth it! Such a fun day with the family! Did I mention Mommy is a little sunburnt! Again, SO worth it!

50 degrees to 80 degrees in one week!!!

Bang! Bang! Bang!!! ( Azee's version of thumbs up!)
It appears that Mason can walk on water!!!!!

This was the scene on a cold, rainy, Monday morning. Azlyn was patiently waiting for the rain to let up by reading Zeke her princess book.

Azlyn's first MTV video!

What can I say? My kids love music:) It's my daughter who has been blessed with rhythm!!! YES!!!

Summertime...and the living's easy!

What I didn't capture is about 5 seconds after this shot, Azlyn's lower lip was sticking out and she began to wail because big brother got her good with the sprinkler!!!
To be this age again and not care that the water coming out of the hose is 45 degrees!

"I dare you to go first!" "NO! I dare you first!" " No really, you first!"

Spring '10

Mason's the one with the red pants ready to attack the ball!

Wrapped inside all that cuteness is pure attitude!

How funny would it be to take this exact same picture of her when she's in her 80's!

Hello all! I know it's been forever since I've posted. I'd like to say I'm on here now because things have slowed down...but then I'd be lying! I've started teaching piano lessons, Mason is in soccer, and Azee's RUNNING any which way the wind directs her! Roth's been on the road quite a bit lately but when he's home we're working on the garden, our ever-growing 'to-do' list, you get the idea.

So here are some pictures of our adorable children in case you've missed them terribly! An almost five-year old that has a daily dialogue of "Trust me Mommy, I know what I'm talking about!" and an almost two-year old that can't stand still for half of a second and if you set her off don't get too close...she's slap you! We can tell she has an older brother...that girl can hold her ground!

Hope everyone is having a great spring and let's pray for warmer weather very soon!

Hoover Dam

I forgot to post these pictures earlier. We got a great pic of the bridge they are building. After this year you will no longer be able to drive over the dam but have to take this incredibly high bridge overlooking it all.

This was the last picture Mason allowed us to take. He'd had enough of standing in line to get autographs. He wanted to go back to Thunder Mountain rollercoaster!
Azlyn was exhausted but did great! She loved every minute of Disneyland!
We can't wait to go back!!!

So had I recorded when Mason was waiting to become a Jedi knight it may have broke your heart. He was so excited, waiving his hands around to be called up so he could officially be trained by a Jedi knight, only to be left in the crowd. He started to cry and burried himself in Daddy's chest. He said he was ready to go home! It was only our first day there! My heart broke, I wanted to yell out "Hey I thought this was where all your dreams come true!" but refrained. It all worked out, he enjoyed the show and wanted to go back to ride the rollercoasters.

March 9th we made our way to Disneyland! From Tuesday afternoon through late Thursday night we lived, ate, breathed Disneyland! Mason's first rollercoaster ride was Space Mountain. Halfway throught the ride he told Poppy Walter he thought he was going to be sick! When the ride stopped he said he was done! So we toned it down a few notches and took him on the more age appropriate rides! By the end of the trip his favorite ride was Thunder Mountain rollercoaster. We actually managed to ride every ride, eat every type of food, and meet almost every main character in the park! Not bad for two and a half days! The kids passed out well before we made it back to the motorhome each night.
