For those of you who know the kids and I spend many days without Roth because of his job taking him many places, this may put things in a completely different perspective. It also humbles me as a wife and mother thinking I have had, by far, the hardest, longest, craziest day!
4:30am-alarm goes off so Roth can catch a 6am flight to Seattle Wednesday morning. He returns later that night.
Thursday morning he spends what time he has with his kids, spoiling them as much as he can before he grabs his suitcase and heads out the door to catch a 1:30pm flight. Upon arriving at the airport he finds out his connecting flight from Minneapolis to Philadelphia has been canceled due to high winds on the east coast. They get him as far as Minnie, put him up in a hotel in hopes the weather miraculously changes so that he can catch a 7am flight this morning.
For those who travel frequently, you know Minnie airport is awesome when chaos arises. ALL flights to the east coast have been canceled. Roth is now stranded in Minnie, but still has to be a part of this meeting. Thank goodness for technology! He was able to phone in and be a part of the meeting. He then quickly chases down a flight to Seattle. He arrives in Seattle, is able to get on a 5pm flight home. They load the plane, start leaving the gate...and a warning light goes off! Let's just say the last I've heard from him is 'we are exiting the plane'...sigh!
I can't imagine being in his shoes right now!!! He's been in nothing but airports and aiport hotels. The life of the traveling business man.
Did I mention he forgot his dress shoes and belt? At least they couldn't see him during the meeting! Poor guy! We appreciate all that you do for this family! We love you Roth/Daddy!!!

More of Azee!
So how is it that it has taken this sweet litle girl this long to walk and one day she decides to sprint around the house and start carrying things around with her! Yeah, we knew she could walk all along!!!!
Azee walking!
So Azlyn has been very hesitant when it comes to walking. She's got the feel for it but wouldn't take those solo steps without Mommy or Daddy close by to hold her hand. Over the weekend something clicked and here she is!!!
Now she won't stop! It's hilarious and oh so cute!!! Busy days...here we come!!!
