Winter blues? Hmmm...more like 'hello spring!'

Enjoying a snack!

We have that great game called 'Elefun' where the elephant throws butterflies up in the air and you catch them with a net...as you can see this is what my kids prefer to do with the nets!

Yes, I realize this looks aweful but Miss Independent wanted to eat her green beans all by herself! Remind you of a certain movie?

Oh, and fyi, do not let green beans dry on a little one! It was like taking cement off of your skin! She did NOT like bath time that night!

Today reached 54 degrees! Yes, you read that right! 54 degrees!!! Here are a few random January pictures! Hope you're all enjoying the warm weather like we are!!!

When daddy's away, the kids will...clean?

I've just discovered the most clever trick yet! When your kiddos are bored, getting into trouble, and daddy is on the other side of the country, hand them a wipe. You know, those fabulous Kirkland wipes from Costco that can be used on anything, wipes!!! Mason and Azlyn have been cleaning my floors, dining table, chairs, you name it, they'll clean it!!! Pure genius I tell you!

FINALLY! Piggie tail!!!

It is truly amazing how two little pig tails can turn Azee into a girly girl!!! I LOVE IT!!!

What's a Christmas without a Wii?
Notice Mason in the corner passed out next to his second cousin, Noah, and great Uncle Bob. Playing Wii is Roth, his mom, Joan, his cousin, Drew, and his dad, Walt.

The funny thing is Mason stayed like this for hours until Poppy Walter said "Mason it's almost midnight. Are you ready for the fireworks?" I've never seen a kid jump straight up from a deep sleep!!!

A healthy burger, fries, and hot cocoa after a day of skiing!

Azee sporting her winter gear at the lodge with her Auntie Strohm!

Happy New Year!

We took Mason up to Blacktail Ski Resort. He had two hours of lessons and still wasn't ready to come in! He LOVED it!!!

After a few hours of sledding!

Luckily Grammy and Poppy's house had enough snow to go sledding on!

I hope everyone had an amazingly wonderful holiday break! Let's just say ours was...memorable!!! Azlyn came down with the stomach flu Tuesday morning before Christmas...we got a very late start on our journey to Montana. We made it that night, Azlyn seemed to be doing better, then just as our guests were arriving at my parent's house for Christmas Eve I came down with the flu, and like flies we all fell! After me was Mason, then Roth, then my nephew, Keston, next my sister...oh yes it keeps going...my dad, my sister-in-law, my mother-in-law, and finally my father-in-law! It was the gift that kept giving! Thank you Azlyn!!! I, unfortunately do not have any pictures of Christmas Eve or Christmas day but have a few others to share. I pray this year brings good health!!!
